Mission Statement:

Through this collaborative effort, we aim to address the evolving challenges in Canadian infrastructure systematically and sustainably.”

Division Description:
The Structures Division at the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering is a dynamic composition of dedicated researchers, teachers and practitioners. We form a cohesive community committed to advancing knowledge and expertise in Structural Engineering. Our members span academia, industry, and government, creating a diverse and comprehensive network capable of addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by the Canadian and world infrastructure systems.

Activities:

Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate a continuous flow of knowledge and exchange of expertise through conferences, seminars, student competitions, workshops and publications, fostering an environment where the latest advancements in Structural Engineering are shared among our members.

Collaboration Enhancement: Actively promote and facilitate collaboration between academia, industry, and government agencies to ensure a holistic approach to addressing challenges within the Canadian infrastructure.

Professional Development: Provide opportunities for life-long learning and professional development to our members, ensuring they stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices in Structural Engineering.
